Information Submitted
When a visitor enters a name, location, or similar query into a search box, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the search tool. Macon County Released Inmates does not keep its own log of those search terms. Messages sent through contact channels are used to respond to the message and are not shared except when required by law.

Pages link to sheriff offices, courts, corrections agencies, VINELink, ADOC, BOP, ICE, legal resources, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that destination's privacy policy controls. Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites.
Security and Age Limits
Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected system can be promised as breach-proof. The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may request deletion if a minor submitted information.
User Choices
Visitors may request a copy of personal data held by the site, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where appropriate, or opt out of certain processing when applicable. This notice may be updated as practices change, with the new version posted here.
